Reporting lost or stolen documents (Policía Nacional)

Denunciar la pérdida o el robo de documentos (Policía Nacional)

What it is

At the Policía Nacional's Online Reporting Office (Oficina Virtual de Denuncias) you can report online: the loss of documents or belongings; the theft of documents or belongings; the recovery of documents or belongings previously reported lost; the theft of a vehicle and its recovery; theft from inside a vehicle; and theft at a home or business. When filing, you choose the province and the Policía Nacional station where you want it processed. If the documents turn up after you reported them lost, you must report it with a recovery report. For theft from inside a vehicle, you can only report online if the theft actually took place; if it was only an attempt, you report it at the police station.
