Youth rent subsidy

Rent support from the Community of Madrid for young people aged 18 to 35 (both included) on the date of application, regulated by Royal Decree 42/2022. Main requirements: Spanish nationality or legal residence in Spain; a rental contract for a home, a transfer of use or a room, which must be your usual residence; not owning a home in Spain (with exceptions); not being related to the landlord; annual income equal to or below 3 times the IPREM; and rent of up to 600 euros a month (300 for a room), or up to 900 (450) in the municipalities listed on the page, including Madrid. There is no fee. Non-EU nationals provide a copy of their residence permit; a padrón volante or certificate is also required. You apply through the Cuenta Digital or in person; information on 012.
