What it is
The padrón certificate proves that a person is registered in València and is used to prove your address to other bodies. There are several types: individual (registration at the time of the request), individual historical (date of registration and later changes) and housing (for family reunification or an invitation letter: it includes the total number of people registered at the home); there is also a family certificate. It can be requested by the person concerned or someone authorised. With a Generalitat digital certificate or electronic ID it is issued online immediately; otherwise, request it on 010 (sent by post to the registered address or by email) or in person at the padrón offices, with an appointment if you wish.

Step 1: Online with a digital certificate
Go to the official website: Padrón certificate (e-office)With a Generalitat Valenciana digital certificate or electronic DNI, you start the procedure on the e-office and download the certificate.
