What it is

The personalised T-mobilitat card puts everything you need for public transport in the Barcelona area on a single card. It costs €4.50, requires registration, can hold all integrated travel tickets and carries up to 2 different tickets at a time. It is rechargeable: with the app, at the ticket machines in metro, train or tram stations, or at authorised shops. It can be bought online on the T-mobilitat website and at the T-mobilitat points network. If it is lost or stolen, it can be blocked so that nobody else can use it.

  1. Step 1: Register and request the card

    You register on the website, request the card (or set up the app to travel with your phone) and choose the ticket you want to load. It can be bought online on the website and at the T-mobilitat points network.

  2. Step 2: Activate and top it up

    Once you receive it you have to activate it. You top it up with the app (“Consulta y recarga”), at metro, train or tram ticket machines, or at authorised shops.

I have lost my card — what do I do?

Block it in the personal area of the website (“Gestionar tarjetas”) or through the support channels. Then you can request a duplicate at an in-person point, paying only for the card (€4.50), and recover the ticket if it was still valid or had trips left.

No. The days keep counting while the card is blocked, until you request the duplicate.

Yes, within 24 hours of buying it, if you have not used it. If you bought it in person, you return it at a service point of the same operator.
