What it is
Pre-enrolment at Barcelona's municipal nursery schools (escoles bressol) for 2026-2027 was online only, on the City Council's procedures portal, from 4 to 15 May 2026; in exceptional situations, families unable to apply online could ask their first-choice school for an appointment to apply in person. Timeline: places published on 1 May; provisional scores on 21 May; complaints from 22 to 29 May; tie-break draw on 29 May; final scores on 1 June; admitted and waiting lists on 10 June; enrolment from 11 to 25 June 2026. Applications submitted on 18 and 19 May were accepted as late, at the first-choice school by appointment.
