School meal grants (Valencian Community)

The Generalitat gives school meal grants to pupils in the second cycle of Early Childhood, Primary and ESO (and Special Education) at public and state-funded schools with a canteen. The application (annex I with documents, or confirming the draft if you applied the previous year) is submitted at the school; for 2026/2027 the period ran from 2 to 31 July 2026 and is now closed. Applications are scored by family income per capita and social and family circumstances; at least 7 points are needed. For 2026/2027 the maximum grant per canteen day is €4.35 in Early Childhood, Primary and Secondary and €5.54 in Special Education. After the provisional lists there are ten working days to appeal at the school.
