What it is
In València, the 2026 motor vehicle tax is paid from 1 September to 2 November; direct-debited bills are charged on 30 September and direct debit can be requested until 18 September. Anyone registering a new vehicle with an address in València pays the tax beforehand (self-assessment A601) on the city website, at the Integrated Tax Management Office (preferably by appointment) or through the registry, with their ID and the vehicle's technical inspection card; payment by card, bizum or at partner banks.
